What We Liked
This is a very complete kit with great tutorials and excellent documentation. It is a great starting point for anyone with a need to drive a 3 phase or BLDC motor.
Full Review
Other than the fact that this kit doesn't contain an E8A Emulator or a motor, it is very complete in other respects. The tutorial labs are clear and easy to follow and there is a lot of basic information relating to motor control contained in the presentations. There is also basic instruction on how to use the HEW tools to set up projects and use the IDE and debugger. The hardware is well constucted and the Fairchild Smart Power Module used in the power section provides plenty of drive capability for most common applications. This is a lot of kit for the money!
